Cincinnati Works Works!
Cincinnati Works brings hope and encouragement to people living in poverty. Through a network of services and partnerships, Cincinnati Works offers a holistic approach to eliminating poverty in the Cincinnati Tri-State area.

Solid business strategies and extensive research have been the keys to our success. Since Dave and Liane Phillips founded Cincinnati Works in 1997, we have helped over 3000 people begin their journey to economic self-sufficiency. A journey that begins with “1 Year at 1 Job.”

What is Economic Self-Sufficiency?
Our Members are considered economically self-sufficient when they can support themselves and their families without any additional assistance such as food stamps, Medicaid, day care vouchers, money from family members or any other type of support.

Achieving Results
We’ve achieved an unprecedented 84% retention rate through our retention, support and advancement programs—programs and support that don’t stop once a Member becomes employed.

Our Members face and overcome many challenges. Hear their stories, learn how and why our model works and take this opportunity to invest in your community.
